Informal poll, primarily most every company present supports concept of IVR for Law Enforcement/911 purposes.
Still under review the IVR decision has not been made yet.
FCC Field Trial Report
FCC report meeting for 9-30 and 10-1, Question, would it save time for the operations group (major players) to participant in the meeting on 9-30 and 10-1?
The decision is for the Operations members whose company participated in the trial to attend the meeting on 10-1.
Joe Lichter letter
Action Item: Collectively talk to vendors to see if this is a one or two step process. Oc will find out and clarify what Lucent does.
LRN’s per rate center
Switch requirements say need 1 LRN per switch. At the Steering committee meeting Lucent only need one LRN per switch. Is an issue with Nortel. Nortel has developed interim solution for one LRN per switch, however, it’s cumbersome. Siemans will investigate.
If anyone is going to use more than one LRN in a switch, Ameritech needs to know this information.
