The subcommittee met to continue working the "Rules of Engagement issue" straw document, LNP Guidelines. The team started today where we left off at the 2-10-99 meeting. Each meeting we will mark where we left off and start at that point for the next meeting. After we have completed the first pass of the document we will fine tune, rework, look for redundancies, validate order of information, etc. before the final document is produced.

During document discussion and rework, the following items were captured at a very high level.

Discussion started with overview to-date, and prior to the point the group left off at during the 2-10-99 meeting.

Discussion on cut-off times

Begin at 2/10/99 cut off point

Interval discussion

Discussion indicated that generically there should be mention of intervals and they need to be negotiated between companies, however, intervals should not be detailed in this document.

Business days are not following NANC flows 2 or 4 days should be changed to 3 and 5 business days.

Projects

Remove the reference about paths as it related to interim NP.

Porting DID Numbers

Discussion on charges. Should charges be discussed in this document.

Supplemental Order

Discussion on acceptance of a supplemental order until the confirmed due date and time may not give enough time to generate a supplemental order. Discussion of coordinated vs. automated order. Tom will craft language for review, and will place a note in the document.

Cancellation Requests

Discussion surrounded the 30 minutes time frame, interconnection agreements, parity.

Baseline Cutover

Discussion to change ‘baseline’ to non-coordinated cutover process. Remove 8-5 reference, and 2 hour reference.

Question on when the CSR section would be discussed, as it was added after the initial review of the section. The thought would be to continue to review the document to the end, review the CSR section prior to reviewing the document for the second pass through.
