The new timeline was discussed (provided by Dick Dowd), it should be

cautioned that this timeline is approved by the Operations Committee,

the NPAC SMS Committee and the Testing Committee only. The Steering

Committee has not approved of this schedule yet. We expect that there

will be no problem with their acceptance at this time.

(Editor s Note: On conversation with Barry Bishop, 02/17/97, the ICC may

have an issue with calling this an LRN Certification and he will get

back to me on what the ICC would like it called. I was cautioned against

using the term until cleared.)

B. Interconnection:

A major issue has come to light. After compiling the NPA-NXXs that each

of the Illinois Service Providers want to use during the Illinois

LRN/LNP Certification, it appears that none of them are in the same rate

district. Each Service Provider needs to provide information on their

inter-connection arrangements. This will be used to set up the

Certification Topology. It is possible that some of the Service

Providers will not have inter-service arrangements signed and in place

in time for the start of Certification meaning that they will be limited

as to which Service Providers they will be able to port to and from.

C. Items for resolution :

-- How we will interconnect

--`Tandem arrangements

-- Trunking

-- Direct trunks between SP's vs. Tandem trunks (using Ameritech)

-- Rate district breakdown for Chicago LATA for a more concise

view of where service providers can overlap and port in/out.

-- What to do to with SP s which are late (Worldcom won t be

available until 08/15/97) - Assigned Dick Dowd and Bettie Shelby.

IV. Operator Services Update:

VI. Document Section Updates:

Bill - noted sections he has updates to. Bill asked for Service

Providers to sign up for the remaining areas of the Certification Plan

that need to have scenarios defined. Still have some open areas. See

below.

A. Items needing scripts, someone to write:
